Hey, I'm Cecily Rhea! I am a graduate from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor's degree in English Writing and Rhetoric. I love editing! I have edited several manuscripts for my grandfather for his editing service. In the two years that I have worked with him, have edited several books. I have also edited things for my classes. I love language and working with language. Editing helps my skills to grow. I don't have to be editing books for my skills to be in use. I use my editing skills everyday. I can't wait to do more editing. In my down time, I really enjoy watching Netflix or YouTube videos, going on walks in my neighborhood, listening to music, drawing, and, especially, sleeping. I don't read a lot of books in my free time. In fact, I hate reading. I find it boring and, unfortunately, I get distracted easily. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear from an editor or future editor, but it's true. That's one of the reasons why I like editing. It makes me read and exposes me to new things. I have a goal. It's not just about finishing the book, it's about changing it to make it better and more readable. That being said, I am excited about the next chapter in my life.
